Evenings drop to around 17 C, or the low 60s F, and the sea breeze arrives most nights like it has a shift to work. Rain in June is rare enough that locals will mention a shower for weeks afterward. Plan for sun, pack one layer for every evening, and you have it covered.

The sun deserves its own sentence: it is stronger than it feels, because the breeze hides the burn until dinner. SPF 50, applied like you mean it, especially at the cove.

What to wear, event by event

Friday aperitivo and bonfire: linen, sandals, nothing fancy. You will be standing on a market street and then possibly on sand. Bring the evening layer to the bonfire; the breeze off the water is real.

Saturday ceremony through dancing: summer formal. For the terrace that means suits in breathable fabric, with ties optional and jackets guaranteed to come off by dinner, and dresses in the midi-to-long range that move well in a breeze. The critical detail is underfoot: the villa is stone terraces and old steps throughout. Block heels, wedges, or good flats. Stilettos will lose, publicly.

Sunday brunch: whatever survived Saturday. Sunglasses are considered formal wear at this event.

The five things people forget

First, the evening layer. A linen blazer, a wrap, an overshirt; anything you can carry to dinner and be grateful for at 11 PM. Second, swimwear, even if you swear you will not swim. The cove converts skeptics daily. Third, comfortable dancing shoes, packed small enough to bring to the villa; there is a reason the timeline notes them. Fourth, a power adapter for European two-pin sockets, plus one extra for the person at your table who forgot theirs. Fifth, any medication or specific toiletries you rely on; the town pharmacy is lovely and small, in that order.

What to leave at home

An umbrella. A raincoat. More than one pair of dress shoes. Anything that wrinkles if photographed. And the drone, seriously; the villa has a no-drone rule during events and the coast wind would eat it anyway.

Luggage logic

If you are doing the weekend only, a carry-on genuinely works: one formal outfit, two casual ones, swimwear, the layer, done.
